He began his career as a Financial Controller for PT. Bandar Victory Shipyard in Batam in 2002 and spent a total 13 years in various financial roles with different banks in Indonesia, including PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, PT Bank BTPN.

Suhendy earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Suhendy is an Indirect Commissioner on the Board of Directors for GMI and concurrently holds the position of President Director for PT. Global Pharma Indonesia since 2016.

Suhendy’s leadership has been vital to the success and expansion of PT. Global Pharma Indonesia, and he is committed to promoting affordable and accessible healthcare for all.

Before joining PT Global Pharma Indonesia, he spent three years as the Division Head of Product Development Liabilities and Wealth Management Products at PT. Bank CTBC Indonesia after transitioning from his previous banking career.
